Quality Manager (Remote)

Job Description

Summary of the Role:

  1. As the Quality Manager (Remote), you will have the following responsibilities:
  2. Advocating for an account profitability mindset and managing account quality-related risks.
  3. Monitoring the costs of quality-related project tasks and ensuring they stay within budget.
  4. Providing linguistic quality services to Argos project teams, suppliers, and clients.
  5. Ensuring overall supplier quality performance within your accounts.
  6. Advising account teams on the best course of action following client escalations and following up with translation teams as needed.
  7. Actively contributing to the improvement of systems and procedures by identifying issues and proposing solutions.
  8. Researching and deploying methods to enhance quality and knowledge retention.

 

Quality Processes:

  1. Designing and implementing quality management methodologies, including special linguistic services such as terminology management and maintenance, creation of style guides, and definition of tone of voice.
  2. Collaborating with project management employees to ensure regular quality control and evaluations of suppliers, as well as collecting and visualizing quality data.
  3. Based on analysis of quality data, defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions and driving continuous improvement.
  4. Proactively investigating client and internal review results and following up with suppliers on projects where quality expectations are not met.
  5. Analyzing quality issues and determining further actions through Root Cause Analysis (RCA); identifying corrective actions to rectify immediate issues and designing long-term plans to achieve stable quality levels in assigned accounts.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Education, Skills, and Experience:
  2. Linguistic education (translation, language, or linguistic studies).
  3. 2–5 years of experience in a quality management role in the localization industry.
  4. Proven track record in quality management.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  6. Proficiency with tools and language technology.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  8. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  9. Excellent written and spoken English skills.
